Is it possible to connect a flash drive via usb while debugging in Android Studio on a physical device via usb?

Perhaps there is a special splitter or something. At worst, so that the emulator sees a flash drive plugged into the usb of the computer and visible as if it was plugged into an android. How to debug any device connected via USB to an andriod phone or tablet.
