Is it possible to configure hotkeys to open the boot menu?

Good day!
I want to put a second axis (ubuntu) next to Windows 10, but I don't want to see the choice of the operating system when the machine boots up - it's wildly infuriating and takes some time.
Based on this problem, such a solution arose - to implement a quick start of the default OS, and provide a choice by pressing a hot key.
Is it possible to implement this? And if so, please tell me how :)

the setting is removed from GRUB GRUB_HIDDEN_TIMEOUT=0after which the menu is not displayed, but you can get into it if you hold down shift when loading.
Something like this.

Perhaps :) Write your own bootloader :) As an example, you can take boot1 from FreeBSD - it is simple as a log and it has similar functionality
