Is it possible to conduct an instant simple biochemical blood test with photo-optronic chips, or how is it done in general?

Is there any way to produce a simple blood test with photo-optical elements? That is, without direct contact. How does this technology work and where can I read about it? Is there any elementary basis for this? Some kind of sensors, etc. I saw in the catalogs of some companies such as special medical optical elements that register the spectrum. But I don't quite understand how it works. And what can be learned by such an analysis, what useful information?

@Foolleren

on modern equipment, blood sugar is determined by the absorption of a narrow band of the IR spectrum.
perhaps there are other parameters that can be determined by the absorption spectrum,
I advise you to read about the section of analytical chemistry "photometry".
