Is it possible to compile openssh-server from Ubuntu system to Android system?

I want to install new programs in my Android 2.3.3 system. I got root rights, - I'll say this: "I had to sweat a lot."

Now I'm interested in how you can use these root rights in practice and for good. The first thing that came to my mind was "how to install a new program into the system"?
I want my Android 2.3.3 to have:
git, ssh-server, ssh-client, etc.
1.0 Is it possible to compile openssh-server from Ubuntu system to Android system?
1.1 How and who compiles applications from the system's $PATH for Android systems?
1.2 How to install a new program in /system/xbin of Android system?
