Is it possible to burn DDR3L?

I found 8Gig RAM on the forum , the seller says that it will not work and it can be burned if inserted into my laptop , although according to the specification of memory modules for my processor it is indicated:

Memory types DDR3/L/-RS 1333/1600
Is it worth it to buy or take a regular ddr3 and not worry?

DDR3L RAM is backward compatible with DDR3 - it can work both at voltages of 1.35 (native) and 1.5 (DDR3).

For some reason, the seller spoke about the power bus, such as the voltage does not decrease because of this, it does not suit me, but it’s more profitable for me to buy it than 4GB for 1600
