Is it possible to become successful in data science without a tower?
Hi friends. I know higher mathematics quite well, not perfectly, but I understand it, and I love it. I started studying mathematics course for DS and some deep learning. All this is certainly interesting, but the question crept in: can I advance without a tower in this area? How to structure knowledge and maybe there are good (paid / free) courses. There is a lot of information on the Internet about how to study, but I would like to hear your opinion. Is it worth climbing or not? (I quit university, but I still love mathematics and I think how to connect my life with it)

The coolest engineer I've ever worked with, not only dropped out of university, but didn't even start studying there. True, it was difficult for him to look for a job, but over time, employers who knew him began to line up for him.
In my 16+ years of work, I have never, at any interview, been asked for either a diploma or knowledge of a university course.
Valuable experience, knowledge, ability to solve problems. The tower is needed to complete the formal HR requirement.
Separately, about "structuring knowledge" - there is only practice, real tasks.
