Is it possible to be a part-time programmer?

Is it possible to do part-time programming? Or is this an area of activity where you are either completely in the subject, or you are wasting your time in vain?

You can, but you can’t go beyond the entry level.

Or is this an area of activity where you are either completely in the subject, or you are wasting your time in vain?
Just like any other specialty.

If we are talking directly about work, when you are paid money, then no problem. I worked remotely 10-20 hours a week for a year. But I did this because almost all the rest of the time I studied the Internet and sawed demos, that is, I invested in my future.
If you want to devote a measly 20-25 hours a week to programming during the development stage, then you will most likely not shine (or your growth will be terribly slow and inefficient).

Part-time means that a fully competent specialist comes and works 20-30 hours a week.
You have further education, that is, you decided to add "a little coding" to your main activity (lying on the couch, pillbox, etc.).

Well, why is someone forcing you to work full-time or what?

Didn't find what you were looking for?
