Is it possible to authenticate users in Cisco ISE?

Is it possible to authenticate users using cisco ISE? As I understand it, ISE provides access to network devices, but I don’t understand whether it’s possible to find out from the ISE logs which users logged in on a particular ARM, or is it easier to tell from the domain controller logs?
