Is it possible to attract people to the site by adding the ability to pay with bitcoins?

Is it worth bothering with this?

What is the theme of the site.
In any case, if you introduce such an opportunity, you can write about it in thematic sites, which can attract attention. I would not say that the community is so small. Here are a couple of forums to get you started 1 , 2 .

No, unless you deal in guns or drugs

Of course not. There are very few bitcoin users compared to other audiences. Better think about how to reach a wider audience.

Depending on the type of service / product, market niche and target audience.
I will give just one example: In 2014, there were more than 250 thousand hostings on this planet (I read such statistics somewhere) and only 4 (four!) Offices trading VPS for bitcoins, three of which are outright scams. I had to choose one office out of one. If they had asked for at least $200, I would have paid anyway.
This is an example of how, in some cases, the option to pay in bitcoin makes all the difference.

No. If only digital maniacs. Cheaper to pay in traditional ways.

If the site is designed for "savvy" - then it's worth it. If not, then just for experience.

As an indirect method of attraction - yes. Maybe no one will need the bitcoin payment method itself, but it will be an informational occasion for a series of articles, on the same habr, etc.
