Is it possible to apply two access groups to an ubuntu folder?
Hello!
The situation is as follows, there is a server on ubuntu 14.04 entered into the organization's domain, of course samba is also configured. The server works as a file storage for a certain group of people.
I need to implement a folder access restriction as follows:
AD users who are in the r_fs_distrib_wr group have full access to the folder, and
AD users who are in the r_fs_distrib_re group have read-only access.
Other AD users who are not members of these two groups have no access to this resource at all.
Tell me how to configure folder access for two groups in ubuntu, for example:
Group 1 (in AD - r_fs_distrib_wr) - full access
Group 2 (in AD - r_fs_distrib_re) - read only
On windows everything is clear, but on ubuntu it is possible to select only one group. ;(

If ubuntu is included in the domain, then configure access using AD. In samba, you only need to enable extended attributes.
