Is it possible to add html5 game to steam?

Hello, please tell me:

  1. if the game is made on html5(canvas), is it possible to add it to steam?
  2. are there any examples of html5 games in steam (preferably a link)
  3. if the answer to the first question is yes, then how to do it? the game needs to be compiled into an .exe file (if for windows) or how?
  4. are there any compilers that compile html files to run them not from a browser?

Thanks for your help and your time.

@Dark_Knight

You can use node-webkit.
Plugin for integrating node-webkit and steamworks
Sample games: Game Dev Tycoon, Elliot Quest.

From the FAQ:
Games distributed through Steam must run as a standalone application. If your game only works through a browser, you need to create a version that will work as a standalone application without using a browser.

Why can't this question be asked directly on steam?
