Is it possible in Windows 7 to search by the contents of files in UTF8?

I remember that earlier, in WinXP, searching for the same files worked. Now it has stopped. And what completely baffled me - googling did not give any results, as if I alone have this problem, and the rest of humanity knows some secret.

First of all, I am interested in whether it is possible to force Win7 itself to search by the text of files in multibyte encodings, and then third-party solutions.

then third-party solutions.
FAR is used. Of course, there are downsides in terms of speed. The rest is excellent.

If you set the content indexing (plain text index) for the necessary extensions in the search settings, then it finds English words (at least that's how I rummage through the sources). It’s more difficult with Russian, I couldn’t find it with a swoop =(

Encoding in files with or without BOM? I just googled this.

I always rummage through the files with a total commander, and + there is an encoding setting (utf8 is definitely there)
