Is it possible in Total Commander to set a permanent mode for sorting and displaying files for a given directory?

I'm used to the fact that in Explorer you can set the display mode in the form of preview images, for example, for a directory with photos and as a list for directories with files of various kinds. You can also set the file sorting mode specific to the target file directories. I was forced to abandon the standard conductor for a number of reasons. In the TC settings, I could not find the options I needed.

Usually, additional software such as IrfanView, ACDSee or FastStone Image Viewer is used for this. Not only do they have preview mode, but a ton of other features integrated right into the preview mode. And Total Commander is needed a little for something else, although it is quite possible to implement any cloud of often unnecessary actions with plugins there.
