Is it possible in our country to work as a programmer in the scientific or space field (Roskosmos? Something with a bias in physics?) And sometimes even eat?

Hello.
There is such a question, we can say that about the future and the meaning of life. I am just a beginner programmer: I work in a small company for food, I study at a party, I try to actively upgrade at home. But the plans, of course, are already such that they will last for two lives.

Or even, more precisely, maybe you have some ideas for the next few years? Now they won't take me anywhere. (But this, following the same plans for life, is temporary.)

I worked in the defense industry. Where they pay how: where a penny, and where it’s very tasty. Where it’s more delicious there are business trips and tests at test sites up to 8 months a year, but also quite generous bonuses based on the results of tests + salary (which is not spent because there are travel allowances) + on business trips, the average salary for a few months (where and bonuses included), not salary. You can work: interesting projects, interesting events at the training grounds, the opportunity to travel around Russia and abroad at the expense of the employer (this depends on the projects of the employer).

you want to write a simulation of rocket launchers and not even a full-time programmer? I won't ask about your full stack. Do you understand that you physically cannot write anything sensible? Such things are written by 35-40 year old men with Ph.D. dissertations and a good skill. Watch NASA broadcasts, satellite launches, photos from the launch room. I haven't seen 20 year olds launch satellites. Especially in physics. Which one, please tell me? There are 10 types of these physicists. You will reach at least the lead of some mediocre highload company in the Russian Federation, and then think about space physics.
