Is it possible in Emacs to save buffers for the next session (without dancing with a tambourine) at the next exit?

I'm interested in the ability to connect some kind of plugin that,
using a keyboard shortcut, will be able to bookmark the buffers opened in the session,
and using another combination, call them, closing the previous ones, or leaving them as they are.

@seriyPS

desktop-mode (built into Emacs) does something like this: saves a list of open files on exit, and opens them on startup.
