Is it normal practice to use different patterns (when implementing libraries) within the development of one project? Or is it worth sticking to one pattern and one style?

It's not very clear what the question is all about. A pattern is a way of solving a specific (small) problem in a way that makes the code easier to maintain. Of course, there is no rule "one pattern per project" and cannot exist.
