Is it normal for a Chrome GPU process to take up 1100MB of RAM?
Windows 7, sp1, 64 bit
Chromium current version.
10-15 tabs open.

Quite.
Depends on the installed plugins, the contents of the tabs, and the availability of RAM.
Sometimes 8-9GB can eat.
