Is it just my Chrome slowing down, or is everyone suffering?
About two or three weeks ago it started to slow down terribly. The page starts to open and does not open, but there is an indication of the opening. Or eight or ten pages - and switching between them becomes a tedious and lengthy process.
And it would be fine if on the same computer. But this happens on two computers known to me and two laptops located at different addresses. I can’t sin on the Internet either: two independent providers - almost identical behavior.
There are no extensions installed anywhere, not even skype. Everything has been removed.

Did you disable the built-in flash player with the installation of Adobe?
Oddly enough, but Chrome encountered similar behavior after installing Win 8. It slowed down terribly, loading pages (for example, habra) reached 5-10 seconds, even scrolling was jerky. Having tweaked a bit in chrome://flags, I cured this by turning on all sorts of “rendering on the GPU”, etc. After that everything is smooth.
