Is it interesting to write apps for Facebook?

So the question is on the verge of offtopic. Decided to go to work and there are 2 offers from 2 different companies that I can't choose between. Salaries are about the same, social packages and all sorts of exercise machines - too.
Differences in the specifics of the projects: one is e-commerce (not an e-commerce engine, but commerce in general), and the second writes facebook applications. I have not yet come across the second type of activity, so the question is: how interesting is it to write facebook applications? How soon will you get bored?

I think commerce will get bored faster than FB apps.

but I think, with such a choice, I would still choose fb app - most of it is social & gaming, they say the future is behind this, and personally I’m more interested - I’ve already seen enough of all sorts of e-com ...

If you didn’t write under FB, I think it will be interesting, but definitely not boring.

It is much more interesting to try something new that requires ingenuity than something ordinary.
