Is it hard to find a ruby job in the office?
I have 2 years of experience in the web (html/css/php + js) in Moscow. I work in a web studio. I have been studying ruby and RoR for several months. I like the language and want to switch to it.
Once I heard that it is very difficult to find a job in an office in ruby. This is true? If so, can you write why?

There is a group of studios in Moscow that need the best developers: Evil Martians, UnDev etc. And it’s hard to get to them if you don’t have a contribution to open source behind you or you don’t have experience in developing serious applications (not just some kind of core).
And there are guys who specialize in the pipeline development of all sorts of shops, crm and other things. It’s not difficult to get to them, and most likely it will be remote.
