Is it dangerous to keep the ID in the address of the user's page?

Hello. I recently came across this article, but did not find which version it belongs to. Does anyone know if the problem was solved in the fifth version or is it still present? Well, also, the question from the title - is it not dangerous to provide access to a user's account by his ID in the address bar?

This article is from the series "Wordpress really doesn't use globals" and primitive, but again for other reasons -))). Look towards Sentinel - good implementation, great features. I would include it in the kernel instead of the current one -))
