Is influxDB suitable for storing logs?

Hello. I'm looking at influxDB as a log repository, and an alternative to the elasticsearch bundle (in conjunction with logstash). Actually, there are several questions:
* pros / cons (besides dampness and tyts )
* is it possible to make different settings for flush and indexing, depending on the shard space?
