Is GWT technology alive?

I'm interested in the opinion of the community, does anyone write on GWT? It was updated last fall, but nowhere in articles or conferences this technology shines, everyone runs around with front-end frameworks.

The enterprise sector is still quite alive. Stable, familiar, you can give a java coder a hand and quickly get an acceptable result. You can look towards Vaadin (actively used in the CUBA Platform, for example) or GXT. But yes, lately, in the enterprise world, they are increasingly looking towards Angular / React / Ext.js
