Is "green" electric transport really green?

Compared to diesel transport, the electric bus, of course, has no exhaust.
Instead, it uses a battery.
But after all, the battery is then charged from the electrical network, that is, from the power plant. And the power plant (TPP) already has an exhaust. It turns out that pollution is simply transferred from one place to another, and people think that it will be cleaner.
In addition, the production and disposal of batteries is very bad for the environment. Do not forget that their life is short, so updating batteries is an ongoing process.

A power plant (TPP)

Why TES? It can be anything else, more (or less) environmentally friendly. But yes, pollution is still there.
