Is Google deleting App Engine projects with disabled billing?

Received two letters from Google for two projects in App Engine with the following content:

Hello,
Your Google Cloud Platform project(s): r****s [Project Number(s): 7****4 ] has/have been in the billing disabled state for more than 200 days. All related Google Compute Engine resources are scheduled to be deleted in as soon as 7 days.
If you take no action within 7 days, you will be unable to recover any resources under Google Compute Engine in this project. If disabling billing was unintentional, please follow the online instructions and re-enable billing for this project within 7 days to avoid the project clean up.
If you have any questions, please visit the Project Billing Help page or Contact Support from the links below.

I have about 10 personal projects under free quotas, and some of them are several years old. How to understand this letter, why did Google choose some projects and threaten to delete them? There is no traffic on them, only I use it, everything is within the framework of free quotas. Maybe I missed / missed something, but not on the App Engine website, not in the search, I did not find information about the terms of free use and Google deleting projects in AppEngine.

Who said it's free?
There the lure is free, yes, there is.
You can register under a new name - they will also give you $ 300 for your services.
If only you started to be used to the full - and then when you can no longer stop, they will start earning money from you.
Turn on billing, set penny limits for a day if you are afraid of overspending.
You can also use a virtual card, for example, Qiwi issues one simply by checking your phone number with an SMS.
There must be a few dollars on the card in total, they will not be used.

Please read the text more carefully - we are talking about the release of Compute Engine resources, not App Engine!
Most likely (I can only guess) about a year ago you tried using Google Compute Engine virtual machines - created an instance, played around with it, and hopefully stopped. In either case, the created images take up disk space.
If your applications work only in App Engine and you do not use virtual machines, then there is nothing to be afraid of, you can even delete old instances yourself.
