Is EATX12v_2 needed?
I bought an ASUS TUF Gaming z490-plus mother, Corsair CX650M PSU. I started to assemble - I look at my mother, in addition to the eight-pin power supply of the EATX12v_1 processor, there is also a 4-pin EATX12v_2. There is suddenly no such plug on the PSU, although I was promised compatibility in the store. It seems to work without a second, but I would not want to sacrifice stability, and I can drive a computer.
Do I need a second line and why is there no power supply for it at the PSU?

Well, not all blocks have another group of pins for the CPU, I have 2 x 8 pins for the processor, one of them is divided into 4 and 4. Look in the documentation for the motherboard, maybe there are mandatory recommendations for connecting the second one. If so, I would buy a new unit.
