Is docker good for deploying test containers?

Greetings!
I took up docker to quickly run different sites on my computer in my development environment.
I run into a lot of difficulties (a lot of imeges that need to be run separately, I don't know how to duplicate a container quickly, etc.).
And my question is docker is good for this or do i need to use other vagrant tools for example?
Or advise what can be used?
I know and use openserver for windows, but this is not a native linux environment, sometimes there are problems with bitrix. I also work on linux at home.

LXD is easier.

Docker is fine. Use tags for different projects and use comp files for different projects
