cloudflare

Is cloudflare worth it?

Hello.
Internet shop. Web server nginx php-fpm + mysql.
Server Selectel Xeon E3-1230 v5 3.4GHz (4 cores 8 threads). RAM 32GB. 2x240GB SSD. Channel 1Gbps and 30TB of traffic.
Is it possible to survive on this, with half a million visitors a day. And there will definitely be ill-wishers who will try to organize DDoS and attacks.
We will protect ourselves from primitive attacks on password guessing and port scanning and "F5".
What to do if there is an attack on the network infrastructure, I do not know. Selectel replied that they would cut down the server. Can they take a large flow of visitors for a bot attack...
Thinking about Cloudflare. How is the situation now with Roskomnadzor blocking their IP addresses?
In fact, I only need to hide the real ip of the server (proxying).
There are rumors that the number of visitors decreases when using Cloudflare, even if the ip is clean. Probably, some providers arbitrarily block both the domain and ip, and only the domain is in the blocking registry.
Can deploy your proxy cloud? Are there any articles on this topic, manuals?
Thank you.

Well, there are blocking of cloudflare addresses, cloudflare themselves offer to take a business tariff, and if there is a custom ssl, they will give 2 dedicated ip.
You can also additionally enable protection in the selectel itself, this is ddos-guard protection.
