Is c# required for java?

Hello! I've been writing in Java for a long time... One day I got the feeling that I got bored :) I think everyone knows it. No, not some kind of complexity, but just a feeling that you want variety. For some reason, my eyes fell on C# . I would like to hear your opinion on this topic: is it worth learning (yes, the syntax is a week, I'm talking about deep learning at the level of a "second" language) lattice in addition to Java or is it not profitable / competitive / better than something (what exactly? ) other?
Thanks in advance to all who answer!

John Skeet 2.0 will work.
The question is "want" - you can do anything.
Is it profitable? Wasting time and filling your head with information that does not bring income to the company and you personally.
If you saw sites, then it makes sense to learn the back and front.
But why does a Java programmer need to know .NET / C ++ / ASM, just read yes, but there is no point in delving into it, because what is not used is forgotten, and time has passed.
It can get boring when the level is Expert, I can answer a question of any complexity in my profession, but there are few of them in the world, so they can get bored.

I switched from C# to Java (Android) and got bored, since the release of Kotlin came out and it became more fun. I just don't see the point in learning. Another matter - if there will be tasks.
