Is an ultrabook NOT enough for web programming?
I liked one very interesting ultrabook, namely Lenovo ideapad yoga 710-14ikb.
I don’t consider Macbooks, because there’s not too much money corny, and in the new firmware, the ports have also been cut.
Processor: Intel core i7 7500U
Video card: geforce gt940
Autonomy
: 8 hours during normal operation
Diagonal: 14
Resolution: 1920x1080
RAM: 8GB DDR4
512 GB SSD
The characteristics are quite impressive and the price does not bite (67,000 rubles)
C++ and other languages.
Please answer those who already had experience in coding on ultrabooks NOT on the web, as I know that the web does not require much performance.

Everything is much easier for a friend :) He writes for android (Java) :) The flight is excellent. Enough for the eyes)
And in general, what exactly will you write?) If the games are on Unity, then perhaps the video card will squat a little :) If the games are meaty :)
The main problem of most ultras is the inability to expand the memory, it is stupidly soldered and does not change.
I have ASUS UX31A, it has 4 gigabytes of RAM, this is its main jamb. If your profit does not depend on the speed of coding, then you can take it, everything works fine. But, if in the same android you don’t want to wait for 1-2 minutes to build the project even in Instant Run, then it’s better to take something with 16 gigs in 2017, or with a replaceable module.
In C ++, everything is not bad, even if you build the project with gradle, with an open IDE, then 4 gigs is sometimes not enough, 8 will be enough, but don’t run anything in parallel. It is better to take 16 at once.
It's all about the default OS 10th edition. If you install minimalistic Linux like Arch, work in all sorts of small environments like i3, awesome, then everything is a little better here.
I didn’t code on ultrabooks, but judging by the purely characteristics, any modern game will work for you, and you are worried about all sorts of visual studios.
The mobile i7 is not much worse than the desktop one.
I myself am sitting on x240 lenovo i5 / 8 / 240ssd, there is still enough for development, but I look towards 16 GB of RAM, unfortunately, the limit is 8 for this instance.
