Is AdMob downgrading your stats?
I have one Android game from last year, still a bit popular, with ~200k banner impressions per day. And so, about a week ago, AdMob, for no reason, stopped displaying ads in it. At the same time, they still underestimate the number of requests in the statistics. Here is a visual picture that shows how the number of requests allegedly drops by 200 times (!), in almost 1 day:
I want to emphasize once again that the game is not new. There are no ups or downs in downloads. Those who have the same stable games can confirm that the dynamics of downloads at this stage looks undulating: a little more downloads on the weekend, a little less on weekdays. That is, there are no natural reasons that could lead to a decrease in the number of requests, of course!
I tried writing to [email protected] (I'm afraid this letter will go nowhere). The contact form on the site, now it turned out to be not so easy to find ... It is hidden here (you need to complete a small quest): https://support.google.com/admob . I tried to create a new Publisher ID - it does not help, apparently, the bug is "tied" to the package name. All the same, ads are not displayed (at least for my region). By the way, in LogCat I see that the request is leaving, but the server replies: “Ad request successful, but no ad returned due to lack of ad inventory”, although for other games, everything is fine. I updated the SDK to the latest one (it was not old, but just in case) - also to no avail.
What else to do, I have no idea. Has anyone else come across similar situations? Unfortunately, I do not see an equivalent replacement for AdMob in terms of convenience, stability and content. Sorry if this is too long, a whole mini-topic is out.

Your Fill Rate is almost 100%, so the problem is not in the admob most likely.
This only happens if you have enabled House Ad display or played with the site settings.
A little offtopic:
Why is everyone so shaking for this admob? Simple analytics shows that there are still 90% of "Midlets" there. That is, applications that send SMS to paid numbers.
My advice to the author is to use wapstart or begun, there are practically no MIDlets, very rarely the most insane people manage to push through :)
In general, you can build your own advertising.
Write a script that will give ads in normal html, and display it through the same webview.
Fortunately, there are a lot of white CPA solutions now. So, try it, you can squeeze out much more than from any admobs, while not risking seeing “fu, there’s a virus right there” in the reviews
