Is a paperless signature legal?
Clients of our retail trade network fill out questionnaires when issuing discount cards. The questionnaire contains a standard set of personal data, consent to receive advertising mailings, date and signature. Storing, processing and searching for a huge number of questionnaires is a problem. And the process of filling out the questionnaire itself is not the fastest and most pleasant procedure for the client. There was an idea to store information about users only in electronic form, and to receive the signature on the screen of a special tablet.
Has anyone done similar? What is required besides the device? Does it need to be formatted somehow? Does such a signature have legal force? Will it suit the FAS inspectors during the check?

I am not an expert or a lawyer.
But, if you look at practice, there are already many resources that receive consent to the processing of personal data in electronic form.
For example , these guys are using a flag that the user must press when registering.
Probably, from the point of view of the law, this flag can be interpreted as a simple electronic signature: 63-FZ .
The solution you propose also, in theory, will be nothing more than a simple electronic signature.
I sign a foreign contract right on their website with the mouse. I don't know if it's legal here, but "they" seem to have the norm.
Taking into account the fact that when paying with a visa and mastercard, you can leave a signature through such a terminal, I think it is more than valid.
I don't know how you decided that year. but our client is authorized and, accordingly, subscribes to the SMS-pincode mailing list.
