Is 4s suitable for iOS development?

i6s are expensive, i5s more or less, and i4s are quite nice.
Are there good arguments to buy an older model?

In a year, iOS 9 will be released, which, with a high degree of probability, 4s will not support. The 4s has a 3:2 aspect ratio while the 5/5s/6/6plus has a 16:9 aspect ratio.

If it's a matter of price, then buy a used iPod touch 5 or iPad 2 / mini.
Buy something else next year.
It is clear that the more devices, the better. If there is still money, then I would buy an iPad Air and the same iPod Touch 5. And I would take a smartphone on Android.

Suitable, but only "at the start", the above iPads and iPods will also work.
In general, if we talk about "serious" development, then we need target devices, and in a live form.
Given the fetish of Apple users for new technology, the latest line is needed.

I have my first iPad and iPhone 3GS - and I use them very well for development.
