iPhone 3Gs & Windows 7 x64
Hello! I ask for the help of the collective mind.
A week ago I bought a new iPhone 3GS. On my machine (Acer 8942G OS: Windows 7 x64 Home Premium) it didn't sync and didn't recognize it in iTunes at all. Googling a bit, I found information that there was a synchronization problem with my OS, and they also sinned on the intel p55 chipset (I don’t know which chipset my laptop is built on, but Mei bi is on it).
On another laptop with XP synchronization is fine.
Without thinking twice, I launched a virtual machine on the seven, installed XP. The iPhone was recognized in the virtual machine, the data from the phone comes to itunes, it sees my programs, but when I try to synchronize, an error occurs: “The iPhone “voftik” cannot be synchronized. The specified file name is a duplicate", or else "... file not found".
Please help me solve the problem...

You can try to put an external USB controller. It helped my friend, but the method is not 100%
As for the mother with the chipset, it helped me at work to switch one flag in the BIOS.
I don't remember which one.
Recipe for Windows 7 x64: "c state" / new drivers / mute Kaspersky.
He himself suffered for about a month, iTunes just hung when the handset was connected to the computer.
The issue has been resolved in the latest version of iTunes. Thanks to all.
