iPad with a warranty replacement in an authorized SC give a new or refurbished after bu? I passed it under warranty due to broken pixels, they said that they would bring a new one for a warranty replacement, but it turns out they pull it out of the box and bring it in or repaired?

My iPod touch was replaced under warranty with a new one. I came to the service center, unwrapped it from the bag with me, removed the film from the screen, activated it and gave it away.

The iPad mini hardware warranty says

APPLE'S RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE EVENT OF A WARRANTY EVENT
In the event of a confirmed warranty claim, Apple, at its option, will either:
(i) repair the Apple Product using new or used parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability; or
(iii) refund the price paid for the Apple Product, provided that it is returned.
When a product or part is replaced, or any price paid is refunded, any replacement item becomes your property, and the item that was replaced or refunded becomes the property of Apple.
The replaced part or product, or the repaired Apple Product, is covered by the remaining warranty of the original Apple Product or ninety (90) days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever gives you the longer coverage period.
If you seek warranty service in a country other than the country in which the Apple Product was purchased, Apple may repair or replace the product and parts with comparable products or parts in accordance with local standards.
