IP-telephony, faxes and CRM?

Poke please in technology / software.
It is given: the company is engaged in sales by phone - managers sit, call customers, immediately in the process of conversation they send a proposal by fax and continue to discuss it. Now they call on the usual intercity. Clients sit under Windows.
Problem 1: You need to send a fax during a conversation, and continue the interrupted conversation.
Problem 2: many clients live in a remote area, so some of them don’t even have faxes, they run “to the next pharmacy”, so e-mail and others like it are excluded.
Problem 3: the call is usually to another city or country, so it is advisable to start everything by IP.
Task 1: how to arrange everything in a smart way so that everything works simply? Local asterisk specialists say that they have problems with faxes.
Task 2: recommend free CRM, preferably integrating with asterisk.

Faxes at an asterisk take off with some crutches. You need to smoke Asterisk + T38.
There are commercial solutions for T38 type Hylafax

And the operator - it doesn't matter, if only the T38 could?

We use vTiger, integration with Asterisk is built-in, we added it so that the recording of conversations is saved in customer cards, faxes are best sent through MTT from telephony operators, + the calling number is always determined which one is needed. If you need special rates write
