IP print server with LPT for LINUX?

All health.
I want to connect an IP print server with an LPT port to Debian (for example, D-Link DP-301+).
Will I be able to access it in the same way as the LPT on the motherboard? Or is it possible to work with them only through the printer driver and CUPS?
The task is to blink LEDs, controlling them through LPT

I'm afraid such a piece of iron will not work with its LPT port at such a low level. Unless if you make your own firmware for it ...

if the print server can be flashed in dd-wrt, then you can hope that this will work: lpccomp.bc.ca/remserial/

If the IP print server has the LPR (515/tcp) or HP JetDirect (9100/tcp) protocol, then it is unlikely, because they receive the flow. Further, for the printer, the stream is output by the LPT port in one of several standard modes, for example, for the SPP mode - byte by byte, namely, this is how: setting the desired values to D0-D7, then a strobe pulse at one of the control outputs, then switching to output the next byte; it is likely that in standby mode, i.e. when the strobe has passed, the outputs, in the absence of the following data, may well switch to all zeros or vice versa: to all ones, or to the third state. In fact, if you make a smart home, then there is probably a measuring base in the form of a digital signal analyzer, or, at least, an oscilloscope - why not check it by connecting to the outputs?
