IOS for the visually impaired?
A few years ago, my friend almost completely lost his sight, but since he is an active person in life, he did not give up and continued to run his small businesses and is now still involved in a charitable foundation, which, in turn, is heavily dependent on the Internet. A person has to spend more and more time online, but this is not very convenient for him now, the help of a seeing person is required.
He is increasingly inclined to use Apple technology, as he has heard about their accessibility features for the visually impaired. I plan to let him try my iPad mini.
I would like to ask the habra community, what programs can make his life easier? If Siri worked on our great and mighty, then in conjunction with Voice Over it would be enough for the eyes, I think, but, unfortunately, according to Apple, we were born in the wrong country ...

Although this is a developer section, it starts with a description of the main features of the platform.
A separate plus is that these features are available in the sdk for third-party developers. True, there is a minus, as a rule, developers score on these features.
