iOS app development?
Hello! I have development experience, in particular backend (node and php). It's time to learn iOS development (mobile and desktop applications).
There are specific questions:
1) What device will be relevant for the next couple of years (something from the macbook line because mobility is needed)?
2) Which language to choose: Objective-c or swift (what is the difference and advantages of one over the other)?

1) any Pro or Air since late 2013 and newer with at least 8 GB of memory. The younger, the better, of course.
2) there are a lot of articles about comparing Objective-C and Swift, I see no reason to retell them. In a nutshell - learn Swift from scratch. The reason is that he is the future, he is developing, a little less than all the articles, courses, manuals are published on him. Open work sites and look at vacancies for an iOS developer - everywhere now you need either only swift or with a postscript (knowledge of ObjC will be a plus). I myself am a pure Objective-C developer, I already feel that it’s hot and it’s time to migrate, I will start the next projects on Swift.
