Internship as a C++ programmer in a company. Is it real?

Hello to all users of this site!
I have a question regarding an internship in an IT company. The fact is that I am self-taught in the field of programming using the C ++ language. Additionally, I study UE4 and plan to work with my friends in the gaming industry. Perhaps there are many who want to work in this area and someone takes this issue seriously, someone does not. I will not argue. Personally, I'm a steady learner of C++ and UE4.
I know that there is such a position as junior. But to be honest, I do not yet have the knowledge that is needed to hire a junior. And I really want to work in this area.
Question: can they take an internship with the company with the possibility of training and preparing for a junior position (even if not paid - I'm ready for this.)? And what you need to do?
Thank you all in advance!
PS self-learning is good! But, after all, working in a company a person can be additionally motivated, which is very useful!

@zusalexey

Well, why are you such a lazy brute, well, write one game and you will already have experience higher than your junior
