Internet on iOS not working after switching WIFI to another hotspot. Decision?
There is an apple tree. At home, 2 access points in different rooms 5Ghz, SSID names and passwords of the points are different
. I switch between them with my hands. It connects fine, but the Internet does not work after changing the access point. Only a full reboot of the phone helps (simply turning off / on WIFI on the phone does not help).
In this case, after the reboot, the access point to which it was connected for the first time will work again. Then again you need a full reboot
. Any ideas where there could be a conflict?

Let's think. Look in the modem settings for the DHCP service, it distributes IP nicknames. Check the IP-nick in the phone settings, try to reserve a specific IP for the mobile phone for two access points .
If it doesn’t help, and the points work fine with other devices, I’m afraid to assume that you have the 5th / 6th / 7th iPhone assembled from sticks (the ref is shorter ). Then try to install beta 13.1, they just updated the modem firmware . Suddenly help.
Check which channels the modem and device support . For 5 hertz is relevant. Most likely, the iPhone would not see the network if it does not support the channel, but you never know. Perhaps the reboot switches the channel and after that the Internet works.
Need more info to be more specific.
