Internationalization on the client or server side?

Internationalization and localization

I found among the questions corresponding to mine in two places. In one place they said that the backend should not know about internationalization, in another they said that the most popular solution is to write localization on the server.

How to proceed? In my project, I'm going to internationalize only static data.

In the vast majority of cases, where html is generated, it is worth doing internationalization there.
