Interception of open Wi-Fi traffic. Maybe?

Recently I suspected strange devices in the router's connection list. I decided to remove the password and put a filter on the MAC address for all devices. Now I'm sitting thinking: is it possible to intercept my data that I transmit? If I use a router with a password, then, in theory, encryption occurs on my part, and data is decrypted on the part of the router. But what if there is no password? Does this mean that my data is transmitted in some way in the clear?
I just don’t want to add a password to the MAC filter, I have to run around everyone around and report a new password. Thanks

I will disappoint you, you can intercept traffic from both open and closed Wi-Fi. I recently read an article about the WPA2 hacking algorithm, but I don’t talk about WEP at all - it breaks for one ... two ... three.
No wonder they came up with all sorts of SSL / TLS to protect traffic.
