Interactive 3D model in iOS App?
Hello! Question from the category: "And so it is possible."
There is a 3D model that rotates around its axis (loop animation). I need to integrate this model into the application - at this stage there are no questions. However, a new idea has emerged. Is it possible to make it so that when a person sees this model in the application (for example, it just rotates) - he clicks on it and the model itself unfolds (for example).
Those. in fact, from the point of view of 3D animation, there are no questions - there is animation and on a certain frame it changes and something happens to the object (this moment is the trigger for changing the animation). And I wondered if it was possible to make it so that the trigger for the start of the animation (transformation of an object from one state to another, rotation, or whatever) was exactly the user's click on the initial 3D object (animation) or, in our case, tap.

Yes, it's possible. Track tap through a gesture, move the camera (or object) by tap
It depends on what you are using to display the 3D model. If Scenekit , then of course - yes.
