Is there any specifics of installing wordpress on a domain with ssl already screwed on. Well, that is, I want to install a clean wordpress via ftp. already incorrect. Can anyone tell me what needs to be done in order to properly install wp on a host + domain with ssl already enabled

Install over https.
If everything is fine with hosting, then there should be no problems. And if they do, deal with them separately.
