Installing Windows 7 on iMac 12.1?
I paint in detail my sufferings of the last 7 hours.
There is an iMac 12.1, the optical drive is removed, instead of it, sdd intel stands.
There was a need to install Windows 7 (using a PC in the domain)
And then it started running - it does not boot either from a usb flash drive or from my zalman ve-300 (Virtual CD).
If in more detail:
- A flash drive created in a bootcamp on another aimak - is not displayed in the download parameters
- From the zalman there is a sagging on a black screen with a blinking cursor and hangs categorically in principle
- Installed rEFIt and slipped the image from the flash drive, deployed via ultraISO - the same cursor is hanging.
The people who carried out this operation - what are the subtleties to make this PC boot from the installation disk / USB flash drive?

As an option to check the architecture of the processor on a poppy.
I can advise you to google hardware compatibility with Windows specifically for your mac.
I myself own Zalman's CD, and connected it to poppies, I see the CD without problems.
alternative - usb-sata-ide adapter.
