Installing ubuntu server 14.04.3-i386 (network card error). How to enable network card during installation?

Hello.
Faced with an incomprehensible problem.
Decided to install Ubuntu server. I created a bootable flash drive and started the installation.
The first mistake was that during installation it required a CD-ROM, which was not in sight.
After a lot of googling, I found a solution. In less than a couple of minutes, a new error popped up. He tried to find network devices and ended up finding nothing.
I decided to skip the network connection setup item and the further installation went fine.
I went as root and wrote ifconfig eth0 up and the network card went up!!! But since it didn’t rise during the installation, the standard repositories didn’t register for me, and it can’t do anything except download from a virtual drive.

@AVKor

Formulate the question correctly.

  1. The OS is installed, you do not need to include anything else during installation. According to the old "good" habit, you decided to "reinstall"? Forget about these perversions, you are not here.
  2. Write the repositories to /etc/apt/sources.list, update the package database and enjoy life. Everything.

If the chipset is Realtek - look for drivers on the site for Linux, write to a USB flash drive (preferably FAT32) and install from there.
