Good afternoon, I'm in despair, I've rummaged through the entire Internet, I can't install Java 8 and JDK on win 8.1, I'm uploading, then win asks for permission to install and nothing happens, neither Java nor the SDK are installed, I read that there could be a problem due to the Cyrillic alphabet in the names of the Windows account, changed the name of the account, but the problem remained, restored Windows, nothing happens. This has never happened ....

A quick option is to copy the folder with the installed JDK from another computer to this one.

1. Demolish Win 8.1
2. Install Win 7
3. Completely forget about such swear words as Win 8, 8.1 and 10.
4. Install Java 8
