Installing full Linux instead of Express Gate?

The Asus VX6 Lamborghini netbook, like many others, has a separate button for loading the fast Asus Express Gate OS. Personally, I would be extremely happy if this button would load not a stripped-down version, but a fully functional operating system (for example, Debian with a built-in web server to work with). It seems to me that I am not the only one who would be happy to find a solution to this problem.
Perhaps someone already has experience with the permutation? It is not clear whether the OS installed in the same partition will be launched by pressing this button or not. I'd love to hear different opinions and advice.

@kolybelkin

I read on some forum, they even wrote about this in support of the asus, something like how to tie the system startup to the same EG button, but they did not want to disclose information.
ps I was also interested in this issue before, but alas, I did not find anything sensible ...
