Increase SSD drive life on Windows 7, and what about Chrome, which is rumored to severely reduce the resource?

Windows 10 says everything is optimized to work with SSD, but I don't know what exactly.
What to do in the case of Windows 7?

  • 1) Disable Hibernation
  • 2) Enable TRIM
  • 3) Disable ReadyBoost
  • 4) Disable Defrag
  • 5) Move swap file to HDD

What else needs to be done?
Does Chrome need to be configured?

All.

Unfortunately, there are no methods to increase the service life. Already what got. You won't change that.
And as for the rumors, it's even simpler - don't listen.

Nothing.
1) Disable Hibernation - If it is not needed, of course, you need to disable it, if you need to enable it. Is it logical?
2) Enable TRIM. - It is enabled by default.
3) Disable ReadyBoost- If there is nothing else to do.
4) Disable Defragmentation - If you like to create problems for yourself and solve them heroically, it is quite possible to disable it.
5) Move the swap file to the HDD - Cool advice for those who like to shoot themselves in the knee.
